Hi all,

when I run xdoclet on an existing ejb project ,it's overwriting the previuos code.I lost my whole ejb previuos code because of this.please solve this problem

myeclipse version is 3.8.2
eclipse version is 3.1

Vevkat,

I'm sorry to hear you had a problem with this. Is there something we could improve in the EJB tutorial in the Documentation section that would prevent others from inadvertently doing the same thing? If you could read the tutorial and provide feedback on how to improve it, we'd really appreciate it. The Documentation section is available on the left navication bar under the Main Menu. XDoclet generates the final implementation and the xml files. This is the expected behaviour.

What exactly has been overwritten?

what if I have couple of EJB's already there and added a new EJB to the same project and had run the Xdoclet on that project?

it's overwring my previous ejb's....

Try to separate them in two different projects or add the xdoclet tags to the other ejbs.
