Diff args for Tomcat start & stop [Closed]

    i need different JVM arguments for the start and stop of the server. Is this possible ?

    We do not currently support start/stop command line args, but it has been requested 1 other time and we can certainly bump the priority on the enhancement request and see what we can do.

    thanks for the quick reply. lots of other software-manufacturers could learn something of this support.

    oke, untill then i’ll use the bat-files. most negative point: losing possibility to debug application

    Actually remote debugging is supported in 3.8.2 by way of the Eclipse remote debugger but you loose some debugging features… in 3.8.3 we’ve enabled full remote deubugging supported and integrated it into ME so you shoudl be able to hookup and go quite easily with remotely launched apps. Hang in there just another 2 weeks or so.

    Then my vacation starts, so it will be something for the next year 😀
