    winxp, java1.4.2, eclipse 3.0.1, myeclipse 3.8.2, resin 3.0.9-pro

At startup it says that In class redefinition is available, but when I actually update classes nothing happes or I get the error message saying that hierarchical updates are not supported and I get the choice of terminating, rebooting or ignoring. So for each change in code I have to redeploy the entire project which is like two minutes of waiting.

    comments and reflections ?

    bjorn,
This feature, IIRC, is called Hotsync or Hotswap and is only available in Resin Pro, do you own a license for Resin Pro?

On a side note, if you are willing, Tomcat 5.x is an excellent container for development (and deployment unless your company uses another container) as it supports everything we need for smooth hotsyncing and debugging outof the box. Same goes for JBoss.
