    Hi,

I have purchased a subscription key but everytime I switch workspaces I have had to enter the subscription key for each workspace. Now when I switch workspaces I get a warning that says:

“SUBSCRIPTION KEY PROBLEM: Too many users are using this subscription key. MyEclipse will now disable most features. Either fewer instances of the workbence need to be run or additional subscription keys need to be purchased throught the upgrade link. The list of IPs using this key have been written to the log and are also listed here for you convenience: 209.87.xxx.xx 209.87.xxx.xx”

The two listed IPs are exactly the same meaning that it is refering to my current machine.

Can you please tell me how to correct this?

    Thanks,
    Roy

The subscription information is stored in your preferences which are stored per workspace. You can use the Eclipse Import/Export preferences to keep from having to readd your subscription details along with all of your other preferences. Go to Window > Preferences > Export… and import in the new workspace.

The subscription key problem is because you have two instances of eclipse pointing to two different workspaces running at the same time. You can email subscriptions@genuitec.com and describe your problem and they can try to help you out.
