Hi at all!

I tried the JSF Tutorial several times, the result is always the same
I get a no such Method error:

HTTP Status 500 -

type Exception report

message

description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

exception

org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet.service(JspServlet.java:236)
javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:853)

I think something with the " javax.servlet.jsp.jar " has to be wrong.
Does anybody know how to solve this?!? THANK YOU!!

Regards, Christian

Errors like this are almost always caused by:
1) Deploying to the wrong version of an App server (e.g. you should be using Tomcat 5, not Tomcat 4)
2) You have included the servlet and jsp implementation JARs in your Project and when it is deployed, the files are conflicting with the ones provided by the application server

If you still aren't able to narrow down what is going one, can you please post all the information we request in the Posting Guidelines thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so that we can determine if this is an installation issue, a configuration problem, or a bug. Thanks.
