Version 3.8.4 GA for MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench for Windows, Linux, and Macintosh is now available.

    The official announcement is here:

    Upgrading from a previous release
For users of MyEclipse 3.8.x, you can easily update by selecting Help > Software Updates > Find and Install… > “Search for updates of the currently installed features” and upgrading from our update site. Or if you have multiple installations to upgrade, you can download an archived version of our update site (in the downloads section) and then selecting Help > Software Updates > Find and Install… > “Search for new features to install” > New Archived Site…

In all cases after upgrading you will need to restart the workbench. If after a restart you notice anything that appears to be non-functional, please exit the workbench and restart with the -clean commandline option one time (ie eclipse.exe -clean). The -clean commandline option forces Eclipse to rebuild its active plugin cache and works around a few bugs in this mechanism in Eclipse. After the restart, proper functionality should be restored.

Additionally, we now have separate beta version of MyEclipse 3.8.4 that supports Eclipse 3.1 milestone builds available in the downloads section. The 3.1 releases will continue to be a ‘beta’ release for future milestones, until Eclipse 3.1 is released as a final version.
