Change the existing HTML preview, or add a new one to be tied to a local server instance, similar to DreamWeaver – i.e. have a root variable that will be pre-pended – for instance we set a local variable (probably tied to the server instance) set it to http://localhost:8080/demo so when we look at /Web Root/mypage.htm it will got to http://localhost:8080/demo/mypage.htm as opposed to just rendering mypage.htm natively. This way server based includes etc. will show up, and it will be more of a wysiwyg interface.

Thanks for a great product !

    Ken,

Good idea. I’ve added it as an enhancement request against our HTML preview option.

I strongly recommend to test your applications with that server where you deploy it, and with all those browsers the application users will use.

If you think you can rely on just “some browser” with “some server” you never have done a serious application.

1st step: Define and setup the environment which the final application will use.

    Then start to develop.

    just my 3ct (got 1 more 🙂 )
