Since there is today only a windows executable, you might try:
:idea:
- install it under windows
- copy the plugins to your linux system
- run eclipse under linux and check the settings

Actually, there is a good reason we didn't provide a Linux installer in this release and have targeted one for the next release. There is currently a problem in the application server core library that prevents proper resolution of certain JDK library jars on Linux. Since we didn't have time to run the problem down before the EA release was scheduled to roll out, we decided to only roll out the EA release on Windows and follow with fully tested Linux and Mac OS X version in June.
