I just purchased a subscription but I am deeply disapointed with the JSP editor. every time I scroll down using the side bar, It starts to crawl and the whole thing comes to a screeching halt until its done with what ever its trying to do.
Is this the normal behaviour?
I came from WASD background and its editor is pretty peppy.

any suggestions on how to improve performance?

It might be that your projects are consuming the default heap and causing swapping. Can you try starting Eclipse with more memory like this:
eclipse.exe -vmargs -Xms128M -Xmx512M

That will likely solve the issue.

If it doesn't, can you please post all the information we request in the Posting Guidelines thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so that we can determine if this is an installation issue or a configuration problem. Thanks.
