The 4 icons at the top of the SQL editor, (running-man, disk, folder, eraser) are missing. There is space for them. But I can't see any of them. The connection popup menu, and the database popup menu are available. But no icons. And it seems that there is no other way to execute a query without these icons.
I'm running on Eclipse 3.1 final. Version 4.0 M2 of MyEclipse. Version 1.4.2 of Java. On a Mac, using 10.4.1
When I run this on a PC, using 1.5 (or 5.0) of Java, these buttons show up.
This is the only case that I've found of buttons not being drawn. In all the rest of the Eclipse IDE, everything is visible. And these are simple push-buttons, so I can't imagine why they wouldn't draw on the Mac. But they are not.

Dan,
The missing icons in the SQL Editor are a known issue in the 4.0M2/E3.1 release on OS X. We have it marked in our PR system as a high priority item. We should be getting a fix out soon. Sorry for the inconvenience. |

I am glad I found this post. I have spent a long time trying to work around this or make the buttons appear. I hope the fix is out soon.

| Noticed this as well. Gave up trying to use the database tools in the 4.0 release. Just not useable yet. Keep trying though. I hope you get the database tools up to the level of the core web dev tools. |

| Actually, this should be fixed in 4.0GA. Are you sure you're running the final build of 4.0? |
