!MESSAGE Platform issue: this file cannot be opened in its current context. The text editor will be used instead.

- Message Body -------------------------------
Hello,
I am opening a MyEclipse Designer file (*.jsp, *.html, ...) in the "CVS Resource History" view (right click file > Team > Show Resource History). When I double click any version, I get an error from the Designer-Editor:

Unable to create this part due to an internal error. Reason for the failure: Platform issue: this file cannot be opened in its current context. The text editor will be used instead.

and a stacktrace is displayed. As a workaround the simple text editor is displayed. Is this the intended behaviour ? I would expect to see the normal Designer-Editor (perhaps in a read-only mode) or at least an automatically replacement (i.e. no error message, no additional editor tab) of the Designer Editor with the simple editor.

This issue as it turns out is a very complex edge case and likely will not be addressed soon. We appologize for the inconvenience.
