I installed MyEclipse and am running examples now. But I am unable to get the External Preview to show on any of the views. I Checked unser the “Show Views” menu and it is not there. Am I missing something?
    Thanks,

What version of Eclipse are you using E2.1.x or 3.0Mx?

I was just checking out Eclipse 3.0 and the External Preview view which was part of the Update plugin is not longer available. I assume this is due to the massive revamp of the E3 update facility. For the short term just use an external browser.

The External Preview is located at Windows menu>Show View>Other>Update Manager>External Preview. Did you look there?

    Hi,
I’m having the same problem but the difference is that I cannot find the Update Manager under Windows>Show View>Other 🙁
    What’s missing?

    Patrik,

It’s under Window > Show Perspective > Install / Update on Eclipse 2.1.x and under Window > Preferences > Install/Update on Eclipse 3.0
