Windows 64 Support:
|
A 64-bit version of MyEclipse is now available for users running 64-bit Windows. To install this version, use our 10.0 installers which will give you the option of installing a 64-bit version on 64-bit systems.
Due to technical constraints, a 64-bit version of MyEclipse on Windows will not include Visual Designers, the REST Explorer and JavaScript debugging. These features will be re-introduced in subsequent releases.
Users can always choose to provision a 32-bit version of MyEclipse, even on 64-bit systems to retain access to all features.

|
Cocoa Support:
|
When installing on OS X Cocoa based systems, you now get the
option of choosing between Carbon 32-bit, Cocoa 32-bit or Cocoa
64-bit.
Due to technical constraints, the Cocoa installations of
MyEclipse will not include Visual Designers, the REST Explorer
and JavaScript debugging. Users can always choose to provision a
Carbon version of MyEclipse, even on Cocoa systems to retain
access to all features.

JavaScript Performance Enhancements:
|
In MyEclipse 10.0, we have introduced several JavaScript code analysis modes to allow you to tailor the JavaScript feature set to suit your specific needs.
While the Active mode is feature rich, in very large workspaces it can lead to memory and performance issues; a problem further compounded if you do not actively work with JavaScript.
The Passive mode is a good mix of necessary JavaScript features and performance, this is the default mode for MyEclipse 10.
To change your JavaScirpt code analysis mode, go to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Files and Editors > JavaScript
