An
Edit with MyEclipse... shortcut is available in
the context menu of all supported file types.
For each supported file type, the appropriate MyEclipse Snap will
be included in the
Open With menu.
The MyEclipse Snaps are listed in the recommended programs for
their supported files types. They are also generally available in
the list of Programs available to Windows.
MyEclipse Snaps can be easily set as the double-click default
using the Open With > "Always use" option.
All MyEclipse Snaps are configured to launch and use only one
instance. Thus when 2 or more files with the same file-type are
activated (e.g., dbl-click) they all open in the same application
window for editing.
An integrated File View that works with the Windows file system
is available in the default UI layout of each MyEclipse Snap.
|
|
IDE cross over
|
Because the MyEclipse Snaps can be configured as the default
editors for Windows, this enables them to be launched from
Eclipse by using the
Open With > System Editor menu.
