MyEclipse: How to update from MyEclipse 9 to MyEclipse 10

Post subject: How to update from MyEclipse 9 to MyEclipse 10

Can it be done via the MyEclipse Configuration or do I need to download ver.10 and do a clean install. In that case, do I install it over the ver.9 release or in a new directory. Thanks.

As the base Eclipse version of MyEclipse 9 and 10 are different, you cannot update to MyEclipse 10 from the configuration center. You will have to download ME 10. Here is the link :

You can install MyEclipse 10 to a new location keeping the ME 9 intact.

The 10 installer successfully installed it next to my 9 install. It was smooth and no issues. Now I have both 9 and 10 IDEs side-by-side. Thanks.
