Hi

What is the use of <birt:param> tag in report.jsp which is created when i add Report Capabilities to a project? Can that be used to pass parameters to the report? If so, how can be done?

Yes, you can read about report parameters in the MyEclipse Help system. Go to Developing Enterprise Reports > MyEclipse Reports > Getting Started > Enabling the User to Filter Data . There are several notes on parameters in this section.

I am using MyEclipse 7.1.

I could not find anything on <birt:param> tag in the section
