Can somebody please tell me why I’m getting the hourglass (MyEclipse not responding) so often. I’m not talking about a 5 second hourglass but a go get a cup of coffee and it might be done when I get back time frame. It happens when I do simple things such as copying a file from one folder to another (within package explorer) or closing a file. It happens several times a day. I am using MyEclipse at work and have McAfee virus protection running in the background. Is there something I can do to minimize these delays? Can a slow network cause this?

Thank you for your help.

Can you go to MyEclipse > installation Summary > installation Details and paste the info here for us. Does the problem persist in a new workspace as well?

Let me know if switching to a new workspace helps.
