I created 2 restful webservices project then i installed My Eclipse for Spring - New version for Spring developers plugin from Dashboard.

I restarted the workspace , now these webservices projects failed to deploy on tomcat.
exception - NullPointerException.

I tried to create a new webservice project , but don't see the option , it's missing.

It's urgent - we purchased corporate license for this tool.

Sorry to say , But we are going look for another tool for development.
this is impacting our development work.

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. I am afraid, I could not reproduce your issue at my end. I need to see the whole stack trace. Please answer below queries -
1. Copy and paste your installation details here. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
2. Copy and paste relevant issues logged in your .log located here - [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log

Thank you for the .log files. Looks like your profile is broken. Your exception trace indicates missing MyEclipse modules. Have you modified / removed any features from either Dashboard tab / Software tab under MyEclipse Configuration Center?

I would recommend you a quick fix using pulse. Please do the following -
1. Open Pulse (Start > Programs > Pulse > Pulse Explorer or try - C:\Program Files\Genuitec\Pulse Explorer\pulse-explorer.exe)
2. Login to pulse
3. Select "Eclipse - Galileo" realm from top left hand corner dropdown
4. Select "MyEclipse 8.6" from "My Profiles", right click on the same and click on [re-install and run]
5. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps

So basically i need to re-install MyEclipse , does it mean i loose other plugins that i added before like Groovy....
I am in the middle of development , trying to understand wht's the risk.
at this point , only web services option is missing.

Re-install is risk free. You are not going to loose any third party plugin already added to your MyEclipse profile.
