I'm trying to build my first javascript web app using the extjs4 library.
Following the extjs4 install instructions I've created a 'extjs' folder under the main web folder and copied the extjs js files and resource files into this location.
Now under MyEclipse the IDE is showing some errors within one of the core extjs4 js libraries:
Description Resource Path Location Type
Syntax error on token ".", , expected ext-debug.js /JSTest01/WebContent/extjs line 8577 JavaScript Problem
| Code: |
// for old browsers
window.undefined = window.undefined;
|
I find it hard to believe that there is an error in the js library. Any ideas?? |

davout,
Please provide below details to help me investigate further -
1. Copy and paste your installation details. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and copy and paste the same here
2. How did you add EXTJs plugin? Please include update site / download weblink
3. Could you attach a screenshot of the issue you are facing to help me get a visual?
4. Please attach a sample project to help me reproduce this issue at my end. In case you cannot attach the file here, please send an email to support@myeclipseide.com, include a reference of this post weblink and add ATTN:Joy in the subject
5. You mention that you have followed instructions to add EXTJs libs, please include the reference weblink here |
