Hi,
I upgrade Myeclipse8.6 to Myeclipse10.0. It is getting very slow. I am not able to work frequently. If i am opening any file to edit, it is taking time to open. Sometimes it struck also. I am using same license of Myeclipse8.6 in Myeclipse10.0. Please help me to increase performance of Myeclipse10.0.

avanishkumar ,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue with MyEclipse.

Can you answer some more questions for us ?

1) Have you tried a fresh workspace ? If you could start with a new workspace then replicate the problem with the minimum set of projects and editors and actions, that would be a big help.

2) Do you see any errors of interest in the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log ? If yes the paste them here for us.

3) Take a look at this performance FAQ : http://myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=27215
You can try increasing the heap and look at the second section for how you can change the JS settings to improve performance. I suggest you move to the Basic mode.

4) Please go through this link which discusses similar issue and check if any of the suggestions help fix your issue : http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2-viewtopic-t-28524.html

Let us know how it works for you.
