1.
Is there any way to remove the "Drop Table" and "Delete all Rows" options from the DB explorer context menu ? These options are far too dangerous for some of my DB connections (Prod !).

2.
I don't see any way of turning Off the AutoCommit flag. Is this option driver specific? I connect to a sql server 2008 DB.

Thanks.

andyke,

I am afraid there is no way to remove the 'Drop Table' and 'Delete All Rows' from the DB explorer context menu.

You will see a confirmation when you try to drop the table or delete the rows which is good enough to alert the user about the action. Our tools are intended for development and testing. I suggest you do not use them to manipulate the production database.

To turn off the AutoCommit, go to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Database Explorer and uncheck the 'Auto-commit' option.

Let us know if you have any further questions.
