I have a meven Web project. If i create the war file with a maven command everything is fine.
But i want to deploy it directly on websphere in Myeclipse enviroment. I tried it with "Add Deployment" on Server Tab. Without success. It does not add the dependent projects into war file. All 3rd part libraries are included. But my libraries..

What can i do?

1. Can you please share the Installation Details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details ?

2. Which version of Websphere are you working with ?

3. How are you setting the dependent projects ? Is it using the pom dependencies?

4. The deployment of dependencies is controlled through preferences. Right click on the web project and select Properties. Now go to the MyEclipse->Web page and the Deployment tab. You can modify how dependent projects are deployed from there. You can also modify the library deployment policies at the same place.

5. Go to "Project properties -> Deployment Assembly page". This page describes how your app will be packaged for deployment or export.Can you see 'Maven Dependencies'? Is its deploy path 'WEB-INF/lib'?

6. Do you see any errors during the deployment to Websphere ? Please attach the deployment log for websphere to help us investigate the issue. Before sending the deployment.log, clear the contents of the deployment.log, replicate the issue and attach the file.

Thank you for the details. I could not replicate the issue at my end using simple Maven web project and one dependent maven java project.

1. Can you recheck the workspace deployment policies ? Since your project is set to use the default workspace settings, please recheck the deployment policies for workspace. Attached is the screenshot for your reference.

2. Are you using the exploded deployment mode ?

3. Can you check if the same project deploys fine on any other server ? You can check with MyEclipse Tomcat and see if the issue exists ?

4. To rule out any issues with your project, can you try with a simple maven web project and one dependent project to see how it works ?

I think you should deploy an EAR project instead of a WEB one (note that your EAR pom.xml configuration is missing dependency on Module_Business EJB project). EAR project will contain EJB projects and Web project. Unfortunately, our deployment engine will not pack any EJB projects into lib folder of a WEB project. In ME11 we will provide more flexible deployment engine.
