linux
jdk1.5
clean install
uml editor

Sorry to be vauge here, but when moving from attribute to class or method using the up arrows in the property editor, I have no idea what tab it's going to show me next. Sometimes it source, and other times its properties. It's distracting from the flow of trying to model an application. I would have to say that over all navigation is unintuitive (for me). There also seem to be a lot of oertunities for right clicking missed. For example if I right click in the attributes window of a class I fully expect the option of being able to add a new attribute or delete one. Not just move up or down. I also think that showing a mini tree of parents from the properties tab would be quite nice. I under stand that the outline is available for that but it's in a whole different area than I'm working on. The outline should also have the above mentioned right click functionality. I guess that over all I'm looking for a way to quickly make a basic diagram an then flush it out., but not nesecarily in the diagram editor. I would think that an easy way to do this would be add the right click functionality of the diagram editor to the other views of the model.

Sorry for the rambling thoguths, that's just my first impression, so thought you would like to have it.

Please note that for fully stable operation of the UML Editor we suggested JDK 1.4.2_08 and Eclipse 3.0.2, this may help with some of the random tab navigation you are seeing.

We appreciate the feedback and will pass it along to the UML team.

I thought that the only way to run 4.0 on Linux was with JDK1.5... I was under the impression that it was a mandatory requirement do to 1.5 fixing an SWT/AWT interaction bug...

I am using a clean install of 3.0.2

Yes I'm sorry I was just going to post that, I am in Windows mode right now. I have filed your inconsistencies for us to look in to.
