Eclipse 3.2.1 is out.
This was actually released a few days ago, but since nobody posted about it I took the liberty to do so.
Now the question, when will we see a MyEclipse 5.02? |

Henk,
A release date for the next version of MyEclipse has not been set yet.
Version 5.0.1 should work on Eclipse 3.2.1 just as well as it worked on Eclipse 3.2.
Let us know if you experience any issues,
Brian. |

On your Road Map I just read: "MyEclipse 5.0.3 should be available in late October and will be primarily a bug fix release.".
Since we're at 5.01 now, does that mean 5.02 will be released mid October? Or will 5.02 be skipped? It seems like the time between 5.02 and 5.03 is quite short really. |

Henk,
Good question. 5.0.2 is an internal release and will therefore be skipped w.r.t. our users. The next release you should expect is MyEclipse 5.0.3 as stated on the Roadmap.
Best,
Brian. |

Is the end of October still a realistic date for 5.0.3?
Have you set a date yet?
This is important to me as I manage a company wide standard IDE and am just about to do a new release base on Eclipse 3.2.1, and need to know whether to wait for ME 5.0.3 or not.
Thanks,
Jon |

There seems to be a common theme here, I'm also testing Eclipse 3.2.1 for my company and I'm holding back on a company wide upgrade because of problems with ME 5.0.1. I do have heard that 5.0.3 is in final QA at the moment, so I guess it shouldn't be more than 1 or 2 weeks now. |

Arjan,
Correct. We'll ship 5.0.3 in the next couple of weeks and it will be built specifically for Eclipse 3.2.1. |
