This is not a big problem but I figured I'd point it out in case someone else is wondering what's happening...

I was trying optimize my validation settings and noticed the following:

If I uncheck a manual validator (like JSP Content Validator) in the MyEclipse global preferences Validation screen and then apply it.

The change shows up in my project properties (which don't override the globals) in the grayed out list of validators.

If I then recheck the validator and apply it.

The change DOES NOT show up in the grayed out list (and JSPs aren't validated).

A work around seems to be to close and reopen projects after making changes. This seems to cause the projects to "re-sync" with the current global settings.

System info:

Eclipse

I was unable to reproduce this at my end. Im not sure if I missed some step. Can you list the exact steps to reproduce this ...

I reproduced it again.. but found that actually the initial global change does not transfer to the project properties.

Here's a shot of my initial project property validators (Project / Properties / MyEclipse / Validation

Here's a shot of my initial global properties (MyEclipse / Preferences / MyEclipse / Validation

Here's what the global validator list looks like after pressing APPLY / OK

But if I go back to the project properties (which has been closed), I see:

Closing and re-opening the project make the two screens look the same.
