I have downloaded and installed the MyBlogJSFJPAExample. The application comes up, but when I go to post a new entry I receive the following error.

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.myeclipseide.examples.myblog.persistence.EntityManagerHelper

I am running jBoss 4.2.2 and MyEclipse 6.5

Hi,
Im afraid this is a known issue that the dev team is already working on. They will rectify this EOD asap.

Is this an issue with the MyEclipse example or jBoss and JPA?

We are seeing the same issue with our own development. We installed this example to get to a base line and that is when we noticed the same issue.

Im sorry for the confusion. I just checked with the team and it seems like this example works without issue on Tomcat. I confused this tutorial with another tutorial that had problems with the post operation. Can you try running this tutorial with MyEclipse Tomcat and let me know if it works without issues.
