Are you not going to provide wizards for creating and deploying Entity Beans at all? The roadmap talks only about Session and MD beans. Why is that?
Thanks,

Mainly because we will start with session and message driven because they're the most widely used. Generating a wizard for entity beans isn't so much of a problem, it's just all the CMP stuff that is unique to each app server that is the issue.

In the GA release, we'll have full XDoclet support so generating EJBs will become a lot easier very quickly.

Even a truncated Entity Bean generation facility will do a world of good. Once the EJB Implementations and Interfaces are generated through your wizard, let the developers write the deployment descriptor according to the server they are using. MyEclipse can only help so much and deployemnt of them properly to the particular server should be the end of it.
Thanks,
-Abhijit

You're right. But we'll be going down the XDoclet route to generate the skeleton and then you can use all the great code generation support thet XDoclet provides to automatically create all the interface classes, xml descriptors, and cmp mappings. It should be a nice solution.
