The facelets validator is flagging the "rendered" attribute on the ui:fragment tag as invalid. I posted this problem on Nabble for the facelets forum it was suggested in a reply that the problem is with the IDE.

See: http://www.nabble.com/Is-the-%22rendered%22-attribute-valid-for-ui%3Afragment--td20199963.html#a20217847

Has anyone had this problem and if so, how did you solve it?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'll ask the dev team to look into this issue. Can you please point me to the documentation where they have mentioned that "rendered" is a valid attribute for the ui:fragment tag.

Thanks.

Thanks for looking into this!!!!!

I can't find any documentation that states "rendered" is a valid attribute for ui:fragment. I know that it does work though... There are many references to ui:fragment and rendered on the net.

I have posted another message on the facelets forum asking for documentation references.

Thanks again! Paul
