I just installed MyEclipse 10.1. I have 5 Java projects that need to be converted to Maven. But I don’t see any options for doing so. I’m a novice when it comes to Maven. I have tried creating a Java Maven project, thinking I could create the project from scratch, but the new project does not appear to have Java capabilities. What is the best approach? How should I convert them?

I forgot to mention that I have the Pro edition of MyEclipse. As far as I can tell, Maven is enabled.

Hi, I’m interested to converting existing projects to Maven, too. Spent some time with several tries, not very sucsessfull. Maven is enabled, I can create new project with Maven support, but not to convert any old. Is there a way to “mavenize” an existing Java project?

It took me a while to find the option, but here it is:

From Project explorer window, right click on project to convert > Configure > Convert to Maven Project

Just for others – “WTP deprecated” must be enabled in Properties->General->Capabilities->Advanced->MyEclipse Standard Tools.

Thanks a lot, this looks good.
