Hi, I managed to checkout an existing project from CVS, but all the java , jsp, class, etc. files have an extra extention – ,v 1.1.
This makes the files unusable in MyEclipse.
In the CVS server, all the project files have the extention of v,v, 1.1 but then the other projects in MyEclipse do not have this type of extension.
I need some help in removing the file extentions of v,1.1 in MyEclipse for the project I have checkedout. Any help would be most appreciated.

    ClarionEvents,

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

The “1.1” that you are seeing for each file is a decoration. Go to Window > Preferences > Team > CVS > Label decorations, you can choose to have files display the version next to the name. The names (build.xml,v) you see are the internal names as stored in the CVS repository.

    1. Can you let us know how you have checked out the project ? Please give us steps in detail.

    2. Is any colleague of you seeing the same issue ?

    3. It might be possible that another developer may have stored the project contents incorrectly in the CVS.

Let us know how it works for you.
