MyEclipse's default runtime shipped out of the box is now Java 6! We have tuned out MyEclipse to run on the latest Java 6 Update 13 platform which should provide a better user experience for developers.

Performance improvements in MyEclipse core will improve editing experience for workspaces with a large number of projects. In the past users have mentioned in larger workspaces some operations like selection, right-click context menus and typing in some editors could get very slow -- that is now all fixed!

MyEclipse library classpath container dialog was redesigned to make it easier to find and add needed library to project classpath.

The ER, Struts and Faces config editors can now export images in PNG format in addition to JPG. Limits on the dimensions of these images have been removed, you can now export large diagrams without issue.
