There are several improvements to forward engineering in MyEclipse 8, including enhanced change detection, better generalization and realization support and selective generation of code based on the current class diagram only as opposed to the entire UML2 model. Generated code is also formatted using your project's Java formatting settings.

UML2 models and diagrams can automatically be generated from JAR and XMI files.

The schema export feature now supports parameterized collections.

Export all diagrams in your UML2 model easily using the Export All Diagrams... context menu action. You can select diagrams to be exported in the resulting wizard.
