Google App Engine Support
What is it?
MyEclipse for Spring now allows users to quickly scaffold applications for Google App Engine (GAE), streamlining deployment to the Google Cloud.
Using the power of MyEclipse for Spring scaffolding, users can point to existing Java Beans, JPA Entities or DB Tables and generate fully functional Spring applications that are built to run on GAE. MyEclipse for Spring tailors and optimizes the generated code and configurations so that the generated application is ready to run on GAE.
Please note that this is an Early Access feature. For more information and known issues, please visit the MyEclipse for Spring Forums.
Why use it?
Users who are new to Google App Engine development can leverage the GAE support in MyEclipse for Spring to produce well-formed examples of how to build applications for GAE. Additionally, it enables the rapid migration of existing applications represented in a database to GAE.
